Insomnia

Do you have difficulty getting to sleep?
Do you wake up often during the night?
Are you a light sleeper?
Does the slightest sound wake you up?
Do you lie awake half the night, tossing and turning, mulling over things, worrying about things?
Do you feel lethargic all day because you haven't had enough sleep?
Do you have difficulty coping with your stresses because you haven't had enough sleep?

If you regularly do not get enough sleep, your ability to function effectively during the day will be seriously compromised.

What we do to help you overcome your insomnia will depend on the causes of your insomnia. You may need to work at 're-educating' your body so that you can go to sleep and stay asleep. Your body gets into patterns of behaving. It sometimes needs help to change those patterns.

You may need to deal with the underlying issues which are worrying you and causing your sleeplessness.

Some people can only get a night's sleep by taking a sleeping pill. They will probably need this in the short term, but in the long term they are better off getting a natural night's sleep.

Can you remember the last time you had a really good night's sleep? Wouldn't it be great to be able to do that most nights?
